Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations
- Oversee day-to-day management and administration of application systems and teams
- Ensure alignment between business needs and application capabilities
- Manage ERP and core business applications, including integrations
- Maintain design integrity across all developments (in-house or outsourced)
People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the applications team
- Set objectives, monitor performance, and support professional growth
Application & Portfolio Management
- Monitor and evolve the applications portfolio
- Ensure effective lifecycle management and continuous improvement
- Promote reuse of components and consistency across systems
Financial Management
- Prepare and manage budgets for applications initiatives
- Optimize costs and ensure supplier quality
Strategy & Innovation
- Contribute to the IT strategy with a focus on applications management
- Define and maintain long-term application roadmaps
- Ensure cost, value, and risk objectives are achieved
Brand & Representation
- Represent the organization at industry events (e.g., GITEX, Oracle OpenWorld)
- Publish thought leadership content to strengthen the company’s technology presence
Communication & Knowledge Management
- Maintain strong communication with business and IT stakeholders
- Promote documentation, training, and knowledge sharing across teams
Policies & Procedures
- Develop and enforce standards, methodologies, and best practices
- Drive continuous improvement and adapt to evolving technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (required), MBA (preferred)
- PMP, Prince2, or Agile certification (preferred)
- ERP certifications (Oracle, Salesforce, MS Navision, Yardi, etc.) are a plus
- Deep technical expertise in Oracle Hyperion / Oracle EPM is required
- Native Arabic speaker
Experience
- 15+ years in implementing enterprise applications
- 5+ years in managerial or leadership roles
- Industry exposure in Automotive, Real Estate, Trading, Supply Chain, Finance, or Manufacturing
Core Competencies
- Business process optimization (Six Sigma/CMM a plus)
- ERP implementation & integration expertise
- Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills
- Sound understanding of accounting and costing methods
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Positive, problem-solving, and team-oriented approach
- Fluency in English (Arabic a plus)
